WIU Installation

To update software and firmware on 75F devices, a software tool called the Warehouse Installation Utility (WIU) is used. The software can be obtained from 75F, and requires two additional third-party programs to function properly.

Step 1: Install the WIU software

WIU Software: Distributed by 75F

The WIU Software will come in a .zip file. Extract the contents to a convenient location on your PC.

Step 2: Install the STLink Cube software

STLink Cube Software: Download

The STLink Cube software is support software for the WIU. Use the Windows x64 version of the software. The link from the ST Micro website will require that you enter in an email address from which to receive the download link. Once you receive the email, you will be able to download a .zip file. Extract the contents into your downloads folder, then double-click the .exe file to install it.

The installation process should only take a couple minutes, and may prompt you to update associated drivers.

Step 3: Install the Microchip Studio software

Microchip Studio Software: Download

The Microchip Studio software is support software for the WIU. The installation process may take up to 15 minutes, and may prompt you to update associated drivers.
